Our Staff
Cedar Mountain Center is staffed with individuals representing varied backgrounds, skills and counseling philosophies. This variety provides the capability of matching a patient with a counselor who would be most effective in working with the patient.
The Cedar Mountain Center staff includes the following:

Cedar Mountain Behavioral Health
CMC Behavioral Health offers integrated mental health services with two licensed professional counselors and two psychiatrists. The psychiatrists offer diagnosis and medication management while the counselors offer psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children.
Co-occurring psychiatric disorders are common among those with alcohol and drug abuse and dependency issues. By treating addiction and co-occurring disorders simultaneously treatment outcomes are enhanced. Our patients have access to this integrated treatment at CMC.
In addition our counselors and psychiatrists offer a broad range of mental health services to our local community. Call 307-527-7014 for a counseling appointment and 307-578-2283 for a psychiatrist appointment.

Please read carefully in order to better understand your rights as a counseling client. Be assured that the code of ethics of the American Counseling Association will be adhered to at all times, and be aware that sexual intimacy with a client is never appropriate.
Confidentiality:
The fact that we have entered into a professional relationship is confidential, and any information communicated or recorded, for the purpose of diagnosis, evaluation or treatment is considered to be privileged communication and cannot be disclosed by me without your written permission. You may refuse to disclose and may prevent the disclosure of confidential information. However, there are some situations in which I may disclose or may be required to disclose information without your permission.
Those situations are:
- Where abuse or harmful neglect of children, the elderly, or disabled or incompetent individuals is known or reasonably suspected;
- Where the validity of the will of a former patient or client is contested;
- Where such information is necessary to defend against a malpractice action brought by the patient or client;
- Where the immediate threat of physical violence against a readily identifiable victim is disclosed to a licensed mental health professional;
- In the context of a civil commitment proceeding, where an immediate threat of self-inflicted harm is disclosed to a licensed mental health profession;
- Where the client alleges mental or emotional damages in a civil litigation, or otherwise places his/her mental or emotional state in issue in any judicial or administrative proceeding concerning child custody or visitation;
- Where the patient or client is examined pursuant to court order; or
- In the context of investigation and hearings brought by the patient or client and conducted by the licensing board where violations of the Mental Health Professions Licensing Act are at issue.
